Who we are
Sarangi Digital Arts is a digital arts and publishing studio based in London, United Kingdom, founded by Asif Sarangi. This policy covers the website at sarangi.digital.
What we collect
- Enquiry details. If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you type, plus the topic you selected and the time it was sent.
- Email. If you email the studio directly, we hold that email as you would expect any recipient to.
- Server logs. Our host keeps standard access logs (IP address, page requested, browser type) for security and troubleshooting.
We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
Why we hold it
Solely to answer you, and to keep a record of the conversation if the enquiry turns into a project. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest — responding to someone who deliberately contacted us — or the performance of a contract once we start working together.
What we never do
- Sell, rent or trade your details.
- Add you to a marketing list because you sent an enquiry.
- Share your message with third parties, other than the email provider that carries it to us.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that go nowhere are deleted within 24 months. Records connected to commissioned or published work are kept for as long as the business and tax rules require, then deleted.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies of its own. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers to fetch them; that request includes your IP address and is handled under Google's own privacy terms.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you may ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it. Write to the studio and we will action it, normally within 30 days. If you are unhappy with how we respond, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
