Where publishing meets the machine age.

Books that explain the world without patronising the reader. Images made with light and code. Films that never touched a camera. One studio, four disciplines, made in London.

What we make

Four disciplines,
one set of hands.

Most studios pick a lane. We kept the lane markings off on purpose — a book, a print and a film are the same argument told at different speeds.

01 — Publishing

Books people finish

Trade and children's titles taken from manuscript to print: structure, voice, illustration direction, typesetting, cover. Written to be read aloud and understood the first time.

02 — Digital art

Images made with code

Generative and AI-assisted image-making, treated as image-making: composition, colour, restraint and a hard edit. Produced for screen, for print, and for limited editions.

03 — Motion

Film without a camera

Short-form motion and AI-assisted film — title sequences, brand films, book trailers, launch pieces. Cut to sound, graded properly, delivered in every ratio you need.

04 — Identity

Systems, not logos

Brand identity, typography and design systems for people who actually ship: a mark, a grid, a type scale and the rules that keep it standing up two years later.

How the studio works

Four rules we don't bend.

01

Start with a human sentence

If the idea can't survive being said out loud, in plain English, to someone who doesn't work here — it isn't ready. Everything else follows the sentence.

02

The machine does the boring half

AI is a studio assistant with infinite patience and no taste. It drafts, iterates and renders. Composition, judgement and the final cut stay human. Every time.

03

Finish it properly

Kerning, print margins, colour profiles, alt text, the weight of the paper. Craft is the part nobody consciously notices and everybody feels.

04

Ship it where people are

A book on a shelf, a print on a wall, a film on a phone held sideways in a queue. Work that stays in a folder isn't work.

The studio

Founded by
Asif Sarangi.

Sarangi Digital Arts is the arts and publishing house of Asif Sarangi — author, fractional CTO and AI adviser. Twenty years of translating hard technology into plain English for founders, family offices and boardrooms, turned toward the work that lasts longer than a deck.

The advisory practice lives at asifsarangi.com. This is where the making happens.

Under this roof

  • Original books, from first draft to printer-ready files
  • Generative and AI-assisted artwork, screen and archival print
  • Motion, title sequences and short films
  • Identity, typography and design systems
  • Commissions, licensing and collaborations

Have something
worth making?

A book you can't stop thinking about, a brand that needs a face, a film that needs a first frame. Tell us the sentence it starts with.
